Made out of a unique stretchy and flexible plastic, these inserts provide a soft cushion for your nipples and reduce the approximate diameter of your breast pump flange by 2mm. This means that you may need to use a larger flange size to accommodate the cushions. For example,  if you currently use 24mm, you may need to size up your flanges to 27mm to accommodate the cushion.

The cushions are compatible with flange sizes 21-28mm only and will not work with flanges smaller than 21mm or larger than 28mm.

You can use them with most pump flange brand on the market, including Spectra, Medela, Willow, Elvie, and many more.

What's included

  • Two (2) cushions. Each cushion is folded flat and packaged in individual zipper bags. Given the nature of the tacky material, the cushions may appear "wet" when folded inside their bags, but this is just the natural oils of the material to maintain its super softness and stretchiness.
  • Instructions on how to use and care for your cushions.

Care instructions

Wash BeauGen cushions with warm water and gentle soap, then rinse and air dry. High heat can cause the cushion material to degrade faster, so avoid sterilizing cushions or using any source of high heat for cleaning.

When washing cushions, check for tears or places where the material might be thinning due to normal wear and tear. When tears and thinning appear, it is time to replace the cushion.

When to replace

When you notice signs of wear, such as, thinning or tearing, then it's time to replace your cushions. The manufacturer recommends replacing cushions every 2-8 weeks, depending on pumping frequency and duration of each pumping session.
