Aside from your flange size, duckbill valves are the most important part of the pump. They are responsible for the suction that pulls milk from your breasts and, without them, your pump doesn't work.

While these valves look different from the original Spectra duckbill valves, they are compatible with the Spectra as well as the Philips Avent comfort breast pumps. To assemble, you insert these valves inside as opposed to fitting them over the hole in the bottom of the flange. These valves also have the pull tab for easy removal so that you don't damage them.

Product features

Duckbill valves can be little tricky to remove. That's why these valves have pull tabs to make it easy to remove from your flange so that you don't accidentally tear the valve flaps.

What's included

  • Four (4) duckbill valves.
  • Small plastic box to store your valves when not in use.

Care instructions

Dishwasher safe or hand wash with warm water and gentle soap, then rinse and air dry.

When to replace

Replace the valves if you notice any of the following:

  • tearing
  • valve flaps separating
  • loose (easily slide on and off the flange)
  • little to no suction when you pump

You can also replace the valves every 3-6 months.
